What's your hemerneutical score?

I'm a progressive at 71, my wife was a 72. What's your score?

  3. I scored 77 - progressive.

I'm skeptical about the accuracy and usefulness of the assessment though. But it's still kind of fun anyway.

I thought some of the questions were a little odd.

  4. yeah, there was a link to a few others who responded after taking the test and one woman who had a phd in hermeneutics felt like the "progressive" category was the most ambitious and ambivalent. seems that post-liberals, postmoderns, and others could fit into this category differently.

i'm with you adam, the questions were a little odd, but for some reason (maybe b/c I like mcknight), I thought this would be helpful for some. like if you were meeting with a group of people for bible study, or for better understanding your staff, etc. kind of like taking a leadership test...it's helpful, but not the whole story or even outright wrong in some areas.

  5. 81 is mine, but I never considered myself extremely "progressive."

    Thanks for the link.
